WASHINGTON, D.C., March 24, 2021 - BTES has earned the American Public Power Association’s (APPA) Safety Award of Excellence for safe operating practices in 2020. The utility earned the first-place award in the category for utilities with 110,000 to 249,999 worker-hours of annual worker exposure.

Ground Broken for New Industrial Site at Bristol Business Park

08.20.18 - Officials from the City of Bristol, Tennessee, Bristol Tennessee Essential Services, and other state and local agencies gathered, shovels in hand, to break ground for a new industrial site within the Bristol Business Park. This marks the beginning of a grading and site preparation project that will result in a 50-acre site, 36 acres of which will be pad-ready, capable of accommodating a 420,000-square-foot building.
