A Decade of Gridiron Gameday

Every August, as the summer heat starts to hint at fall and the community buzzes with the anticipation of Friday night lights, I am counting down the days until the first football game of the season with a little more excitement than most. Gridiron Gameday is the highlight of my year. Long before the first whistle blows, I’m prepping cameras, organizing our crew, and triple-checking that every wire, graphic, and system is ready to roll. Throughout the year, my co-workers enjoy hearing my reminders of how many days we have until football season!

And this year is extra special. On Friday, August 22, 2025, Gridiron Gameday celebrates its 10th season of delivering live high school football action to viewers across the region. Our weekly live show has become a fall tradition for families, fans, and football lovers.

Each Friday night, BTES brings the energy of local high school football directly to your living room. With coverage from Sullivan East High School, Tennessee High School, and West Ridge High School, Gridiron Gameday showcases some of the most exciting matchups in the region.
