Exciting improvements are coming to BTES in early 2026! We’re launching a brand-new customer information system designed to make managing your account easier than ever.
While there are numerous positive changes, one feature that is unfortunately not going to be available with the new system is scheduled Auto Pay payments through a credit/debit card or an e-check. Here’s what you need to know:
Auto Pay Changes:
- Automatic payments through a credit/debit card or e-check will no longer be available.
- Credit/debit card and e-check information stored in our current system will not be transferred to the new system.
- Credit/debit cards and e-checks can be stored in the new system and used for one-time payments only. A convenience fee will still apply.
A Better Option – Bank Draft:
We highly encourage you to transition to Auto Pay - Bank Draft by December 31. Bank Draft information will transfer automatically into our new system!
- It’s free (no fees or charges).
- It connects directly to your checking or savings account using your routing and account numbers.
- No late fees, no worries! Bank Draft is automatically drafted on your due date.
- With our new system, you will also have the option of selecting a date for your payment to draft each month, as long as the date selected is on or before your due date.
To set up Auto Pay - Bank Draft:
- First, remove your current credit / debit card or e-check information from the BTES mobile app or customer portal by following the directions below.
- Next, sign up for Bank Draft by visiting btes.net/bankdraft or giving us a call.
